Routes and Schedules
Bus routes are set by the Transportation Supervisor and approved by the Board of Education with safety being the top priority and efficiency being an important consideration.

Bus information is generally available the week prior to the first day of school. Letters will be sent the week before school starts to all eligible bus riders with all pertinent bus information.

Bus times the first few weeks of school may vary from the time on the letter that you recieve. Please be patient with us during this hectic time.

Student Rules
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that will ensure that everyone has a safe ride. The rules are founded on the requirements of the Ohio Revised Code to provide maximum safety. Your child will be provided a list of the rules at the beginning of the school year and the rules are also posted inside of each bus. You may also access them from this website. We ask that you please review the list of rules with your child before the beginning of school.
Please be aware that students are not allowed to bring friends with them on the bus unless they are also an eligible bus rider. Your student must have an cfalls.org/docs/Alternate%20bus%20request%20form.pdfalternate bus form signed by the school principal and the Transportation Department must be notified a day before for students may ride on a different bus.

Suggestions for Parents
Review the bus safety rules with your child and stress the importance of observing them.

Remind your child that student behavior on the school bus is considered an extension of classroom behavior. The bus driver merits the courtesy and respect due to all school personnel.

Make sure your student is at the bus stop 5 minutes early. This is for your child's safety.

Periodically remind your child of the importance of mannerly and orderly behavior at the bus stop.

Accompany very young children to the bus stop and meet them on their return from school.

Make sure your child uses only the assigned bus and bus stop.

The bus didn't show up on time. How long should my child wait at the stop?

Your child should arrive at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival time of the bus. We strive to have the bus arrive at your stop everyday at the same time but unfortunately buses breakdown, we may have a substitute driver, roads may be blocked, or an emergency may arise that causes the bus to be late. A bus will always be at every stop regardless of how late it is running. If the wait becomes 10 minutes or longer, call the Transportation Department @ 330-926-3800 ext. 502881. We ask that all parents discuss with their child your plan for what to do when the bus is late.

Change of address
When you have a change of address make sure to notify the Transportation Department at 330-926-3800 ext 502882, as well as the school your child attends. This assures there will be no interuption in your child's bus service. Three days advance notice is usually sufficient.
