The Business Department is involved in most services that are not directly involved in teaching. These areas include Buildings and Grounds, Custodial Services, Maintenance Operations, Transportation Services, Food Services, Purchasing, Warehousing and Support Staff Personnel. The district owns and operates 13 buildings and grounds. A 5 year Repair Plan has been developed and many renovation/repair projects have been completed. Our Custodial and Maintenance Staff work hard at maintaining clean, safe and healthy facilities. The Transportation and Food Services Departments provide services daily for our students. Through competitive and cooperative purchasing we are able to maintain a warehousing inventory that includes over 2000 items. Our support staff of over 220 works very hard at keeping our schools a pleasant place to be and to support the learning process.
